Conrad, the adorable buff kitten, was one of a litter of rescued buff and grey kittens arriving at an Indiana foster home. The six kittens would be “some of the happiest, most loving kittens” their foster mom, Jennifer, had ever cared for. And Conrad’s cuteness was “too much!”

The kittens were four weeks old when they arrived, with four boys and two girls. Although Jennifer had fostered hundreds of kittens since 2017, the cuteness level was off the charts.

“I can’t get over how cute they are🥹,” she said.

Mom! We’re Hungry!

They were small for their age and had ongoing tummy troubles. But even so, they were endlessly hungry and not shy about telling Mom. Every time they spotted her, they begged her for attention and food at full volume!

Conrad the Little Charmer

At the veterinarian’s office, a test showed the kittens had the common parasite, Coccidia. Thankfully, treatment helped them bounce back. Finally, they started gaining weight and feeling so much better. And, things got even cuter.

Conrad continued to charm everyone with his every move. One day, he put his paw under his chin while snuggling in a blanket. Then, he seemed to give his Mom a knowing wink!

“Conrad, with the paw under his chin move is too much. 😻 (I promise that’s food on his head and not poop. 😹).”

Another video showed one of the buff kittens at play in a colorful hideout as their curious siblings looked on. It’s the simple, happy moments like these that make fostering so rewarding.

All of the kittens continued to grow and thrive and grew up so fast together. They met the resident ‘Papa Bear,” who has helped teach manners to many a kitten in the home. These kittens were no different and enjoyed their lessons.

Jumping into a New Life

Before anyone was ready, the kittens reached the big day, and it was time to start new lives. Thanks to their loving foster mom and supporters, they were ready. They headed off to Hamilton Humane Society to search for their new families.

It wasn’t long before Conrad found a home with his brother Jeremiah, a kitten with an extra loud purr motor.

“Conrad is the most loving kitten. He will literally jump into your arms for cuddles. He gives hugs and kisses and has the loudest motor. He’s an easy going guy and very playful,” Jennifer said.
