Purrfect Cat Rescue Inc. of Crystal Lake, Illinois, shares the story of Bubbles and Bangs, two rescued kitties in love. After over a year, the rescuers can’t get enough of these two and neither can we. Regularly, they share pictures of the two lovebirds “just because.”
Often, the rescuers find that it’s the older kitties that are oozing with purrsonality. Below, you can see what we mean. It’s too sweet.

Bubbles Finds a Boyfriend
The love affair started in June 2021, when the rescued announced that Bubbles had found a boyfriend. She looked very content and proud of her man Bangs. Bubbles, her sisters, and Bangs came from a horrible hoarding situation in which they saved more than 28 cats from one filthy home in August 2020. (Cat Man Chris took part in saving 40 cats from another hoarder him with the rescue.)
“When this picture was taken… we were embarking on a hoarding cat rescue mission. This picture documents the start of a very long, heartfelt dedication on behalf of Deb a.k.a. shelter mommy that will change her life forever!”
Yet out of that misery came a beautiful story. A prior hoarding case of 40+ cats inspired the rescue’s founding as well as shared on Cole and Marmalade.
But this rescue had something very different.
Bubbles has a boyfriend, Bangs❤️.”
All received care and were spayed or neutered to prevent more kittens from needing rescue. However, when they rescued Bubbles, they didn’t know they were saving a bat cat.
“Purrfect Cat Rescue now rescuing bats! LOL. BTW….her name is Bubbles.”
It looked like Bubbles the Bat Cat had a secure relationship with Bangs. Yet just a month later, scandal – Bangs was seen cuddling Bubble’s sister Blossom.
“Ummm, wasn’t it just yesterday Bangs was canoodling with Bubbles? Tonight it’s her sister Blossom! 😻. Poor Bubbles, lol.”
But Bubbles also has a sister named Faith, who is as cute as a button (and likes real catnip bubbles).
Bubbles Gets Revenge
Days later, Bubbles had her revenge, but she quickly forgave Bangs. Soon, they were cuddling together K-I-S-S-I-N-G in the cat tree.

Bubbles and Bangs Forever
Days ago, the rescuers shared more of the love affair of Bubble and Bangs. It looks like it’s a cat love story for the ages.
