Obviously this wasn’t the first time the officers had to rescue a kitten. But it was likely the first time they had to pull a feline from under the pole instead of perched high above them. Not only did they have to worry about how to get the kitten out safely, they had to be very cautious of the traffic. And should the kitten be terrified when recovered, they had to ensure it didn’t run into the road and back into danger.
Thanks to their fast thinking and gentle hands, this little one is now safe and has since been transferred into the care of San Antonio Pets Alive“💛” A big THANK YOU to the caring residents who called regarding the distressed kitten. [And] to Officers Guevara and Perry for always being ready to help animals in need.💪💙
If you ever see or hear an animal in distress, don’t wait—call 3-1-1 and report it. Your call could help save a life. Together, we can continue making a difference for the pets in our community. 🐾
There is not much else yet they’ve announced about the lucky little soul. But it is now safe inside at the animal rescue and hopefully will soon be up for adoption! Be sure to follow San Antonio Pets Alive on social media for updates and to adopt one of the many fluffs in their care. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this baby out of the darkness and into a new life.
