Sugar and spice and everything nice; that’s how these two adorable kittens are described. But then, there’s a bit of emphasis on the “spice” apparently. However, for those that love to romp and play with kittens, that is what creates the most fun.
And the lucky family that adopts bonded girls Poppy and Paprika is going to get a huge helping of sugar and spice!
These gorgeous girls are living one of the experienced foster homes for Feline Friends Chicago. Born around the estimated date of July 21st, they have learned “how to cat” safely under their care. Apparently these two have quite the “purrsonalities” developing in their cute fluffy bodies.
Paprika lives up to her name- she is a sassy little girl who has no fear. She loves to play with anything and everything- her toys, her tail, her sisters tail, you name it.
She is also a very impressive jumper, and likes to hop up onto the window sill to watch the birds.
When she tires herself out, she just wants to cuddle up with her sister, or in a humans warm lap. Or sometimes on your shoulder.
Poppy may be a bit more “chill” than her spicy sister Paprika, but a warm lap is ideal to both kittens.
There’s something about long haired cats that draws me in though. And a long haired Tortie?! I’m mush.
Poppy loves to run, and is the first to greet you at the door when you enter the room with a meow hello and the loudest purrs around.
She will follow you everywhere, trying to catch your feet. She also loves her toys, especially her little ball that she kicks around for hours and hides behind her bed for safe keeping.
When Poppy is ready to relax, she likes to watch her sister run around from the comfort of your lap.
The two girls must be adopted together, but who wouldn’t want a double dose of sugar and spice like this?!
If you are in Chicago and looking for a little…or a LOT, of love, please reach out to fill out an application for these two.
But be warned; Feline Friends Chicago has strict adoption policies. Because these survivors deserve nothing less than the best! These animals have been rescued from a life on the streets and given a chance to thrive. And the crew with the rescue will do everything in their power to make sure they never know sadness again. #WorthIt
