A Chicago-based rescue group, “Kitten Smitten,” shares the story of Underoo and the Underpants Bunch. This rag-tag group of four tiny tuxedo kittens arrived dirty and crusty, requiring baths immediately. Thus, they earned their funny names, all after famous undergarments.
When the four “positively dreamy” kittens arrived, they had suffered from flea bites and required specialized care, baths, and vitamins. In all, there are three boys and one girl, and they were just 10-12 days old. To stay warm, they had to stay in an incubator.
After a good bath, the babies posed for their first photo.
“These babies might be sporting fancy tuxedos, but we like to keep it real around here. So please say hello to the Underpants Bunch!” wrote Deborah. “From biggest to smallest, we have Tommy (John), Calvin (Klein), Victoria (Secret), and Underoo,” wrote Kitten Smitten’s Deborah.

Deborah is a baby kitten expert, foster coordinator, and animal advocate who agreed to foster the four kittens saved from Animal Control. In her efforts, she helps “The Catcade,” a cage-free cat café and lounge that helps adopt countless kitties. Without their combined and exhaustive efforts, the kittens wouldn’t have a chance in life.
Below, the four kittens stayed cuddled up together, their white whiskers standing out from their black coats.
“I’m growing a whisker garden, she wrote.
Soon the kittens were ready to explore their new home, carefully prepared with places to play and climb. As Deborah watched TV, they watched her, climbing and taking over her lap.
Meet the Adorable Underoo 🐽🐽🐽
Soon, she fell in love with Underoo and “his little piggy nose. 🐽” For Underoo, there’s no better place than cozying up in his momma’s shoulder, otherwise known as the “neck nook.”
In another picture, you can see Underoo’s little pig nose. Two black dots make his nostrils look bigger than they really are.

Underoo’s ‘Beans’ 🐾🐾🐾
Below, you can see that Underoo also has some adorable little feet, commonly called “beans.”

The Underpants Bunch: Tommy John
Now, meet the other kittens in the Underpants Bunch. Tommy John, or TJ, is a handsome little “genius” who likes giving high fives.
Basking in a ray of sunshine, TJ is one picture-perfect kitten now.

Calvin Klein
Meanwhile, Calvin was the first of the Underpants Bunch to be fully litter trained. So, he was the first to enjoy the coveted “Couch Privileges.”
“He has clearly made himself at home and shows no sign of.”
Victoria Secret
Victoria or “Vicky” loves to ham it up for the camera and likes to keep all the toys for herself.
“Okay, so Victoria miiiiiiight have a slight toy hoarding problem.”

The Underpants Bunch Live in a Pineapple🍍🍍🍍
These kitties love to cuddle up in their little pineapple cozy, reminiscent of the animated SpongeBob SquarePant’s home under the sea.
Every day, the Underpants Bunch gets into mischief, makes themselves filthy, and keeps Deborah very busy. For rescuers, the constant work to give these little fur babies the chance for a happy life is all worth it.
