Fate, you can be absolutely hilarious sometimes. There’s no denying it. Just like when a NJ man commented on a post by a local animal rescue organization. Because what he saw blew his mind. He had just come across two feline brothers named Matt and Murdock who were up for adoption.
And His Name Was Matt Murdoch.
The Woodbridge Animal Group – WAG shared a post highlighting two brothers at their rescue. The boys were up for adoption and because they were bonded, they needed to be adopted together. Even more of a reason, both were blind and relied on each other for support and comfort.
Hi! We’re Matt & Murdock! We’re the SWEETEST bonded brothers you’ll ever meet. Something you may not realize upon first meeting us is that we both have something called optic nerve agenesis. This essentially means that we are blind. But please don’t let that fool you – we climb, play, explore, and follow voices like pros! If no one told you, you’d never know. And yes, we’re perfect gentlemen when it comes to the litter box!Our favorite thing ever? CUDDLING. We absolutely LOVE people and can’t wait to snuggle up in our forever home TOGETHER!
Human Matt had to comment on the post. Although later one person replied that he should have gone with “You’ve got to be kitten me.” 
Fateful Intervention
It was only about a month before that the brothers had been found on the streets in Port Reading. There was no microchip information to identify a previous owner. And the shelter couldn’t even tell they were both visually impaired at first. Nothing would stop them from getting their opportunity at a good life though. Yet no one expected fate to intervene like this and it’s simply purrfect. 
Only 2 days after Matt Murdoch spotted Matt and Murdock on the shelters page, they shared an even better post. He had done it! He went and adopted both boys, welcoming Matt Murdoch (jr?) and Murdock Murdoch into his life and home. You can’t ask for a better adoption match.
Some stories are truly meant to be! Matt and Murdock, our sweet bonded brothers, have found their forever home and here’s the kicker…They were adopted by a man named… Matt Murdoch! Yes, you read that right.The universe clearly had a sense of humor (and excellent matchmaking skills) with this one.
These boys didn’t just find a home – they found their namesake! We’re pretty sure this is the coolest adoption story ever, and we can’t stop laughing at how perfect it is. Wishing Matt, Murdock, and…Matt Murdoch many happy years together!
We’re wishing all the men and their family years of cuddles and joy!
