Is it possible that the world needs more stories about celebrity Cat Dads right now? Well of course we do! Call it Cat Dad therapy.

In a stressful and cruel world, seeing men showing their gentle side gives us a lot more faith in humanity. We want a world where everyone shows much more kindness and love to each other, cats, and animals in general.

Old stereotypes that men don’t love cats are fading fast; and we think that’s pawsome! Cats are amazing companions for anyone, and it seems more men are openly discovering it. Of course, they’re also discovering that people love seeing them show love for cats. Have you seen Instagram lately? Cat Dads everywhere! It’s pawsitively a Cat Dad Revolution. We previously shared a story about a documentary called Cat Daddies featuring stories from across America.

Many men have discovered that simply sharing one picture with their cat results in a sudden spike in interest, often with viral reactions. From that point, we often see pages suddenly taken over by the cat content as viewers demand more and more.

Of course, cats have long ruled the internet, but paired with their Cat Dad; it’s the best of both worlds. So here’s a roundup of just a few cat dads for your consideration. If it helps you destress and have just a whisker more faith in humanity, we’ve achieved our goal.

You can also check out some “kitten ASMR” to help you destress here.

Hartnett discussed what inspired him in life and his passion for creating “a sense of wonder” for the people around him. As he’s talking, you can see this cat feels the wonder and wants nothing more than to be with this cat dad.

Cat Dad Patrick Swayze

CatCon Worldwide, described as ComicCon for cat people, was founded in 2015. They’re preparing for their eighth year in Pasadena. But it started in 2014 as a Cat Art Show and expanded from there.

In 2016, a painting of the late actor Patrick Swayze with a cat was among the artworks drawing thousands of visitors. The Cat Art Show returns this year in October.

We love that Ruffalo has also expressed his support for doing away with the cruel practice of declawing.

“Who needs a guard dog? I got something better. Introducing claw-enforcement,” he shared for International Cat Day on August 8.
