TikToker Charlotte from the UK shares the story of Agatha Irene, a cat who she adopted from a rescue. The cat may be older than 18-years-old, and her family abandoned her for some unknown reason.
Now, she is spending her Golden Years getting the love she deserves in a home with Charlotte, her dog, Bella, and another house cat who all mean the world to Charlotte. As a senior cat, Charlotte says she is “grateful for every small thing” and offers so much love and affection.
As for her name, Charlotte says she had to give Agath Irene a “traditional” name to suit her maturity. Although kittens get much of the focus, older pets can be ideal for many families. For tips on making sure senior cats are comfortable, check out our earlier post.
In the comments, many people shared how wonderful their experiences with adopting senior pets have been. In response, Charlotte says she’s “so glad” she adopted the senior kitty.
“Thank you for adopting a senior 🙏🏼🙏🏼,” commented one person.
