It was like a Simpsons marathon when a foster mom in Manitoba took in a dozen kittens and cats, all named after the animated Simpsons characters. The first dozen rescues were all black and white as if drawn with bold pen strokes. And all were surrendered from one home. But then, the next day, half a dozen more cuties arrived from the same home, The Simpsons Part II!
It’s hard to imagine one home containing almost two dozen kittens and cats! Aside from two, they looked alike, black and white. They were somehow cohabitating until a disaster forced their humans to give them up immediately. Sadly, a resident dog attacked and killed one cat, forcing the family to give over the remaining cats and their kittens. Fortunately, they were all healthy and happy.
The first wave of Simpsons arrived, including all-black and white tuxie kittens, taking after their father’s strong genes.

In addition, five adult black and white cats arrived. One was the kitten’s mama and the others were their aunties.

Playful, Cuddly Simpsons Kittens Take Over
How on earth could so many cats be cohabitating in one home? Well, foster mom Laura G. discovered they not only looked alike, but they also acted alike, with the sweetest animated purrsonalities.
“The genetics in this crew are visibly strong, but in addition to them all looking alike, they all act alike too – they are playful, cuddly and adventurous as can be 🖤,” shared Laura and Her Cats.
And then the Simpsons Part II began with:
- Doris
- Willie
- Chalmers
- Skinner
- Otto
- And Momma Hoover

After being vaccinated and dewormed, the kittens sat still for a group shot.
“This afternoon I dewormed and vaxxed these 5 and they are HOLDING A GRUDGE y’all 😂. Rather than climbing in my lap like usual, they ran to the furthest corner of the room and sulked. Cutely sulked,” Laura G. shared.
Of these, Willie was the only orange boy, and Mama Hoover was a beautiful grey and cream tortie.
The Simpsons took over the foster home and were adorable. But there were so many cartoonish characters it was hard to get them all in one picture. All the wacky kitten shenanigans were like animation come to life.

New Adventures for 23 Cats and Kittens
By the end of the next month, the Simpsons went to find forever homes at Grateful Friends Animal Rescue. Wherever they went, they continued having the best time!
And their mamas, aunties, and uncles were all doing great after being spayed and neutered. Needless to say, they won’t populate the world with any more cartoon characters needing rescue. However, adult cats like Momma Marge and aunties Sherri, Terri, Selma, and Patty often wait longer for homes and may still be looking in the Manitoba area.
Below, Sherri and Terri’s nose markings seem to fit together like puzzle pieces.
