Here comes the sun with a bouquet of adorable brown tabbies named after Beatles songs. They arrived in a California foster home during a busy spring kitten season, among the lucky few.
“We have a bouquet of tabbies!” shared foster mom Tammy Kaehler.
The five mini-floofs were all cute as buttons and soon exploring their new safe space.
A Sponsor Chose Beatles Names
One of the fun parts of fostering is choosing names. In this case, the bouquet of kittens had a music-loving sponsor who chose purrfectly.
As the kitten’s sponsor, they also got other fluffy purrks like video calls with the kittens. It’s a great idea for fosterers out there to consider!
The sponsor named the kittens Vera, Chuck, Dave, Maxwell, and Rocky, all names in songs by The Beatles.
The song “When I’m Sixty-Four” contains the names Vera, Chuck, and Dave. And Maxwell and Rocky are from Abbey Road and the White Album, respectively.
“This is a sponsored litter, which means the sponsor gets to name them and receive endless photos and videos. We also already done a video call. They get all that, and I do meds and scoop poop! Whatta deal!” Tammy explained.
It was just days later that Tammy caught that cutest of moments as Chuck the kitten played stick ’em up with his tiny paws.
It brings us back to the time a little black kitten named Cole played that most adorable of kitten games eleven years ago.

Time to Head Off Down Tabby Road
After a month in their loving foster home, the sweet Beatles kittens reached spay-neuter day and were ready for their glow-up Glamour Shots.
Like “Here Comes the Sun,” they were ready to shine for their new humans somewhere down Tabby Road. Next stop: Love Your Feral Felines (LYFF) in California.
Alas, they grow up so fast like that Beatles song “Hello, Goodbye!”
Celebrating Tiny Tigers
By late summer, all but adorable Rocky found furever homes. But they were all playful, confident cuties thanks to all the love they received along the way.
Here’s what the bouquet of tabbies looked like right before heading off to new lives. Some lucky family would soon be rubbing their soft, spotted bellies.
For International Tiger Day, LYFF celebrated their “tiny tigers,” including Rocky.
“On International Tiger Day, we’re celebrating our tiny tigers. Trust us, they have all the stripes, swagger, and charm of their full-size cousins, but they’re much easier to make part of your family.”
