Having a hard day? Well, here’s the story of an interview with hunky Kumail Nanjiani surrounded by rescued kittens, which may be just what the doctor ordered. Plus, it helped the Heaven on Earth rescue too! (see video below)

“I hold my cat like a baby like this,” Nanjiani demonstrated.

BuzzFeed described Nanjiani as an “adorable cinnamon roll and hilarious human,” who has appeared in both the Marvel and Star Wars universes, loving them equally, he says. He also portrayed the founder of the Chippendales in “Welcome to Chippendales” on Hulu.

“It’s got no kittens, but no show is perfect,” Nanjiani joked.

As with similar kitten and puppy celeb interviews, Nanjiani met with rescued kittens while discussing career highlights. But it was Nanjiani’s sweet Cat Dad vibes that impressed thousands of swooning viewers on social media.

The actor and stand-up comedian wanted to know each kitten’s name, reassured them not to be scared, and genuinely loved them. BuzzFeed called it “one of the most calming kitten interviews we’ve ever done.”

Reacting to the video, one viewer on Instagram summed it up:

“Attractive men being gentle with little creatures become 10x more attractive. It’s science,” said Marian Owen.

As noted, the kittens were from the Heaven on Earth Perry’s Place rescue.

“Please support your local cat rescue. They all need wonderful homes,” Nanjiania said.

We previously shared the story of another comedic genius, Seth MacFarlane. He helped create Perry’s Place in North Hollywood to honor his late momAnne Perry MacFarlane. Then, he adopted a black cat, Arthur, from Perry’s Place.

A Cat Named Bagel

From the video, you can see the actor loves cats. He says he “fell in love” with the kittens and hoped people would adopt them from the rescue. At home, he and his wife, writer Emily V. Gordon, have a cat named Bagel, which she calls “an angel of a cat.”

The couple frequently posts pictures of the kitty and other cats on Instagram. But, they are both clearly smitten with this sleek feline Bagel.

Below, you can see Bagel taking over Kumail’s favorite green chair.

“This was Kumails favorite chair. Now it’s Bagels favorite. An alliance has been formed.” posted Gordon.

Wonderfully, this grey kitty with bright green eyes has a soothing, healing purr, shared recently on Instagram.

“Thought the world could use a little more Bagel,” Nanjiani recently posted.
