Phil “Smagical” Smage shows that anything is possible for himself and his snowskating cats. We have seen some adventure cats in our time, but Taddy Cat and Tandy Cat are incredible!

You must see Taddy, the “barn cat with lots of skills and personality,” go snowskating to believe it. Below, you can watch Taddy riding a snowboard like an Olympic athlete. The cat surprised everyone with his skills. As we know, cats only do what they want to do, and Taddy loved snowskating.

“It’s pretty easy to get down and depressed nowadays… but it’s almost impossible not to smile when you see Taddy doing his thing,” shared Smage.

Taddy the Smagical Snowboarder

Taddy and his Smagical snowskating defy what many people think about cats. For one thing, most cats don’t seem to care for snow, much less riding a snowboard. But there is Taddy proving everyone wrong. The cat pushes himself along on the snowboard using his hind legs and does incredible ramp jumps without hesitation. Then, he runs back to go on another wild ride.

We’ve shared another story about cats that go skiing and cats that love swimming in the ocean. So you see, stereotypes about cats and men who love cats are often completely wrong.

Tandy the Smagical Snowskating Cat

As incredible as Taddy Cat is, there is another snowskating cat named Tandy. Recently, Smagical shared a clip of Tandy going for a mourning skate. She loves the snow as much as Taddy, choosing to be in the snow over walking in the grass in the mitten-shaped peninsula of Michigan.

Smage says Tandy “definitely has some Taddy genes in her and Taddy’s spirit.”

Tandy is a distant relative of Taddy, who Smage also rescued from life as a struggling barn cat. There’s also a snowskating goat named Gary!

A Cat’s Prayer for Taddy

Taddy is so awesome he appeared in magazines and had interest from America’s Got Talent.

Unfortunately, Taddy went missing in August 2020 and hasn’t returned yet, but Smage hopes he will return one day. Due to the pandemic, he spent more time with Taddy at home. The Nitro Circus athlete continues to share videos of all the great times they shared. He shared a “Cat’s Prayer” with his followers to help bring him home, and we hope he does.

We share the Cat’s Prayer by Audrey Moon for Taddy and for anyone whose cat goes missing. We’ve seen stories of cats returning home after a decade or more. Cats are incredibly resourceful and resilient, and we have much hope for a Taddy reunion.

Smagical Cat's Prayer for Taddy cat

In 2018, Smage, a professional snowskater and motorcycle rider, suffered a horrible spinal injury during a world-record UTV distance jump at the Brimstone White Knuckle Event in Huntsville, Tennessee. He broke his neck and was paralyzed. Yet, like his amazing cats, he has defied all expectations and dramatically returned to doing things most people could never attempt.

According to his Instagram, he is “an incomplete quadriplegic with the mind of an able-bodied athlete.” However, after a long road of physical therapy, Smage and Tandy are back adventuring again. May they be joined by Taddy Cat on the slopes one day soon!
