Harry and Ronnie are sleek grey brother kittens with the most beautiful subtle tabby stripes and spots of darker grey. The brothers grew to have the softest fur with “beautiful silver undertones” and the “the coolest spots and stripes” their foster mom had seen.
When the two cuties arrived at LA-based Lil Foster Babes, they suffered from ringworm, parasites and tummy upset. Days before, Baby Kitten Rescue pulled them from a shelter, and they required intense round-the-clock care to survive. It took weeks for the kittens to recover, and Ronnie saw multiple vets. Sadly, their sister Hermoine passed away in 24 hours, too far-gone by the time they got to her.
Foster mom Pie Chiu got to work helping Harry and Ronnie recover, and finally, their bellies became less bloated, and they could relax.
“Harry and Ron were dealing with quite the diarrhea and parasite issues when I first got them. It was painful for Ron to sit down or walk and he NEVER slept belly up. He’d just kind of squat lay down and it was so sad. That’s why I still smile extra when I see them looking so comfy and belly up 🥰🥰🥰,” wrote Chiu.
Harry and Ronnie Take Everything in Stride
Throughout the ordeal, the kitten brothers remained exceptionally sweet and took it all in stride. As their health improved, they became playful.
“Despite all the vet appointments, poking, prodding, testing and meds, Ron remains the sweetest most tolerant little dude🥹 I’m so happy he is now feeling better and is actually starting to play with his brother, Harry!!😭🙏,” Chiu shared.
As Harry got a little older, he would purr if you merely looked at him. But his brother Ronnie didn’t purr, not yet.
“Sweet, sweet Harry is a ball of pure sweetness and joy. He makes friends with everyone (human and fellow kitties) instantaneously. Just wants to love and be loved – is his motto ❤️.”
Well-Behaved Bros
Later, when the kittens got more freedom, they remained well-behaved little gents, even putting themselves to bed.
“Harry and Ron have a little more freedom now that their 💍🪱 is clear 🥳! They have a small area around my office that they can run around. And how cute is this – they still put themselves to bed, going back in the playpen, to sleep 🥹🧡🥰. Such good babies ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
The brothers continued to impress everyone with their adaptability to everything and everyone that came their way.
“These two are some serious ragdoll-ish type kitties. They adjust to every situation with ease,” said Chiu.
Ronnie Finally Starts Purring
Finally, Ronnie started purring as he enjoyed the “good life.” He and his brother had “the most scrumptious bellies” to rub. To be freely offered a kitty belly means you are loved and trusted completely.
“Lil Ronnie bean is the cutest! He is really starting to enjoy the ‘good life’ ☺️. I find him snuggling the fuzzy blankets, making biscuits!, and he’s recently started purring! (He never purred before 🥺). He’s really coming into himself, feeling healthy, safe, and loved. He has the roundest belly and it is so cute watching his little body run around 🤭☺️❤️.”
As you can see, the pretty kittens liked nothing more than offering their soft bellies for a rub.
“Harry and Ron have the most scrumptious bellies.”
A month later, on Chiu’s birthday, she got a wonderful reward, taking the kittens to their new furever home together.
“So, it’s my birthday 🥳 and I am so grateful because for my birthday, I got to take Harry and Ron to their forever home 🥹❤️! Yes, they were adopted together to an amazing couple who love them so much already, had their home fully stocked with cat tree and all before they arrived, and a dog sister Coco who they will absolutely love ❤️. I couldn’t be happier for these silly, loving, bonded, and very handsome brothers! I can’t wait to see them grow 😻😻😻😻!”
