Here’s a wonderful update (or season finale?) on The Roys, four “little lions” named for Succession characters. In April 2022, they arrived in foster care at Lil Foster Babes in Los Angeles, only 2 days old. For these kittens, they did get a dramatic start to life when foster Pie Chiu saved the tiny neonates at a shelter. They would need round-the-clock bottle feeding to have any chance at survival. But, these were strong little lions and they made it thanks to their foster parents.
Everyone fell in love with the feisty Roys, who almost didn’t look real; they were so cute. Their names are Roman, Kendall, Siobhan, and Connor. Siobhan, nicknamed Shiv, follows after her Succession namesake, being determined and a little ferocious.
The Succession Kittens Grow Up Fast
We last left off in June, and the Roys have grown up since then, resembling “handsome goofball baby lion cubs.” For example, below are Kendall and Roman in July, who were bonded and hoped to find a forever home together.
“Kendall and Roman are an absolute joy and will never cease to entertain 😋. They are also the sweetest, most cuddle, purring, snuggly, loves belly rubs and be held kittens you’ll ever meet,” Chiu said.
Equally sweet, Connor delighted his foster parents with his silly antics.
“He is guaranteed to make you laugh with his silliness and fill the role of best furiend! He is insanely cuddly,” Chiu shared.
Meanwhile, Shiv became a beautiful socialite who adored being the center of attention.
“Shiv absolutely needs a human that she can be besties with. She is usually the first to greet you in the AM when you open your eyes, plopping right on top of you with the loudest purrs and lots of kisses 😘.”
One day, the Roys decided to create a little drama and hide from mama.
Season Finale for the Succession Kittens
Finally, in September, the first of the Roys, Connor found his human family and was immediately at home with a new cat sibling.
“Connor, the sweetest, most cuddly go-with-the-flow kitty got into his carrier the night I took him to his forever home and immediately laid down, completely relaxed and trusting. It didn’t take him long to be the snuggly, loving, pure-machine self with his new mom and dad 😍.”
Once a distressed shelter kitten, Connor is enjoying the finer things now, staying warm and cozy.
Days later, very grown-up-looking Kendall and Roman found their home together.
“Now named Hamilton (Kendall) and Huckleberry (Roman) ❤️! They are so loved and spoiled in their new home. They are avid biscuit makers 😍, still love their blankie and monkey, purr like crazy, loves water from the sink 🤭, and absolutely love snuggling mom and dad 😻.”
“These two boys are so very special and hold such a special place in my heart. Couldn’t be happier for these two; they are so very happy with their purrfect family.”
Like their brother Connor, these two don’t have any worries anymore.
Last, but not least, Shiv found her forever home with another foster baby named Dolly Pawton from Baby Kitten Rescue.
“After talking it through, they are so committed to doing what’s best for the babies, they also adopted Kale, now Dolly Pawton 😽, so that they would always have each other ❤️. These two lucky girls have parents completely enamored with them, absolutely loved and spoiled – and after 24 hours, they all became quickly bonded. Couldn’t be happier how this turned out.”
The Roy’s Journey in Foster Care
Lil Foster Babes shared a cute video of the Roy’s journey in foster care.
“Succession Babies 🧡 You guys, the iPhone just made this video on Foster Dad’s phone of the Succession babies this summer, and I’m in tears 🥹🥲😭❤️. Kendall, Roman, Connor, and Shiv were with me since they were 2 days old and they were just the most loving babies, all velcro kitties who love laying on you and snuggling in your neck, and open to any new adventure as long as they were with their human whom they trust so much. They are all in the most loving homes, being the best companions to their forever families, and I couldn’t be happier and more proud of them 🧡🧡🧡🧡.”
