New Jersey TikToker and social media influencer Rachel and her husband, Brian, have three kids, two dogs, a puppy, and four cats. It’s one big happy family.
The cats:
- Jinx – a female black cat
- Minnie – a calico girl
- Duke – a rescued black and white male cat saved from a tragic hoarding situation.

Plus one big tabby who loves to climb Rachel to give kisses and jump on Brian when he gets home – from across the room. Rachel has all kinds of social media content, but things went viral when she posted a TikTok about Cat Dad Brian and the high-jumping tabby.

Cat Dad Loves When Tabby Jumps to His Shoulder
In the comments, Rachel shared that her husband and cat are very much in love. But the jumping, which happens without warning, started because the cat was hungry. But she says Brian loves when the cat jumps to him.
“We didn’t train him to do this. He just started doing it out of now where when he wanted snacks and now he won’t stop haha,” she said.
In another version, the audio features the popular sound effect of “Wheeee!” making it even funnier.
Although the rescued tabby cat clearly loves his dad, Duke the cat also gets cuddles.

This high-jumping tabby is a senior cat Rachel adopted from a shelter. After the cat’s owners passed way, she says he waited for 8 months in the shelter. Often, senior cats can be overlooked in favor of kittens, but you can see this cat found the purrfect home! Below, he climbs Rachel to get a kiss.
Finding a Fellow Animal Lover
Rachel also shared some great advice for anyone considering a relationship with someone who doesn’t approve of your pets. Both she and her husband love animals, and it makes a difference.
“Sometimes I think back to when I was dating someone who told me I had to get rid of all of my pets because he was allergic. It was him or the animals,” she shared on Instagram.
“And then there’s Brian. Who brings me baby mice to take care of, who says, ‘let’s go get him’ when I say there’s a special needs kitten at pets mart with crazy eyes. Who lays on the bedroom floor and snuggles Cash even when he is the absolute stinkiest boy. Who spoons our cat Jinx every single night.”
