This might be the sweetest “foster fail” you’ll ever see.

Aurora, Oregon-based volunteer foster-based rescue Meow Village shared the cutest story about Jaxon, their junior fosterer. In 2020, he started caring for two cats that “stole his heart,” George and Jerry. But as with all foster babies, eventually, the goal is to see them find furever homes.

For any fosterer, saying goodbye is bittersweet. But for Jaxon, it was devastating to see George and Jerry leave. But just when he thought they were gone forever, something unexpected happened.

In their new home, George and Jerry’s family discovered they were allergic. So, they returned the cats and guess who was waiting for them? It’s “the sweetest foster fail,” Meow Village shared.

It’s also an “I’m not crying, you are moment,” as the rescuers shared an unexpected reunion. The two cats certainly remember their kind junior foster, who later adopted the two kitties. You can see them grow up and nearly outgrow their human.

The Sweetest Foster Fail

It seems that the cats were always meant to be with Jaxon.

On Instagram and TikTok, many people said seeing Jaxon reunited with his furbabies brought them to tears.

“Foster fails, George and Jerry have some snuggle time with mini, cat whisperer, in training, Jaxon 🧡😽”

Although there were two foster fails, Jaxon didn’t stop fostering cats. While writing this adorably sweet “tail” about pure love, we stumbled upon something just as rare! Only this came in the gorgeous form of a rescued albino cat momma named Jazmine. STORY COMING SOON!

Here’s a little preview of the next story, which you can read here.
