Black cats are the best cats! At least, that’s what any black cat lover would say. We often see people saying their cats look like mini house panthers but this time, a black cat looks like something else entirely; a dragon! How does a cat look like a dragon? Well, this little kitty found in a tunnel looks just like a certain favorite cartoon dragon.
Toothless the Dragon Cat
One day, Zamani Zamri was riding his motorcycle on the Bartley Road underpass and spotted a black mass on the side of the road. As he got closer, he noticed it was a long-haired floofy black cat. Immediately, Zamri took the cat to the Singapore Veterinary and Specialty Hospital to be checked out. Unfortunately, the vet informed Zamri that the cat did not have a microchip, but he was perfectly healthy.
There are no homes in the immediate area, so Zamri took to social media to help find the kitty’s owner. However, the kitty on close examination looks just like Toothless, the dragon from the hit series How to Train Your Dragon. He even does the little tongue blep!
“Hi, I found this beautiful thick & long coat black cat on the side of Bartley Rd underpass. Brought to VES for check turn out okay. Cat is not microchipped, thus unable to find owner. Please DM me if this cat belongs to anyone,” Zamri posted.
The post was shared hundreds of times, and many Facebookers offered their condolences and advice.
“Doesnt make sense the cat can make its way there by himself..I can only imagine the worst case is inhumane act of dispose the cat there..Whatever it is what a blessing to have a kind hearted person like you..Thanks god bless you,” One person said.
Another Facebook poster said, “Kudos for saving this kitty … probably will lose her life on the busy roads otherwise.”
Happy Update for the Dragon Cat
In an update, Zamri shared the news that the kitty found a new home.
“The cat has found a new family. My sincerest apology for not being able to reply everyone that PM me as I received overwhelming response from many kind souls. Thank you for your kind words and concern. May god bless all of you!”
We hope that whoever adopted the kitty names them Toothless!
