A TikToker shares the moment a tiny kitten later named Beanie realizes “she found her forever home.” First, we see the scared and spicy stray kitten hunching down in the corner of a crate, trying to look fierce. As her rescuer comes closer, the kitten hisses and spits, trying her best to look menacing.
But Beanie’s threat is way too cute, and her future human is seen reaching down to pet her as she mews softly. As you watch, you can see the moment wariness turns into letting go and starting to trust.

In the next frame, we see Beanie perching on her human’s arm, looking calm but curious. Then, she’s lapping from a golden bowl of kitten replacer milk. (Don’t worry, it’s not cow milk.)
“After discussing with a vet, we included it in her diet because she was left by the mom too early. She is off of it now and is chomping on kitten food,” the TikToker explains.
From there, the kitten plays on her human’s lap and has lots of fun tackling a stuffed animal. After getting worn out, the kitten takes a nap clinging to their arm, clearly trusting them 100% at this point. And then, there’s no reason to try to look big and tough anymore. She can relax and enjoy being a kitten at last.
Beanie’s Quirky Habits
Now settled into her new home, the cute furball starts “living her best life rent-free,” and quickly doubles her weight to 2 pounds. Below, you can see her do the hilarious side “crab walk,” jumping comically as many kittens do when playing. It’s a favorite move for many people who love kittens that never gets old.
Beanie also loves attacking socked feet and might have “a foot fetish.”
About five times a day, she likes to climb on momma’s back, right when she’s having meetings.
An update a couple of months later shows a day in Beanie’s life that looks peaceful, playful, and happy.
She’s found her perfect spot to sleep, spread out on the sofa. Now, this is the life!
High up in the window, she’s found the perfect place to perch to wait for the delivery man.

Now fully grown, the kitty hasn’t changed much and is just as playful as ever, chasing her tail.
Although the TikToker’s mom didn’t like the idea of getting a cat, now this one is her favorite.
