I’m a big fan of getting massages, but who isn’t? Allowing your body to calm to the point of ‘melting’ away in a cloud is the perfect way to relieve stress. And I’m an even bigger fan of watching kitten videos. So when I opened my news feed to see a video of a tiny little kitten getting a face massage, I had to click on the link.

Because they were boasting that the video of the kitten face massage was oddly satisfying to just watch.

They were not wrong.

Science has proven that cat’s purr has healing properties and can actually heal bones, muscles and tendons.

So can simply WATCHING a cat help lower our blood pressure? I know that the 4 thousand sleeping cat photos I have on my phone back up that theory!

Adorable kittens themselves are addicting to watch; they don’t have to be doing a thing.

Literally the 16-second clip consists of an adorable ginger kitten getting a face massage. It is set to a calming lullaby of pan flute music. Just be sure to turn the volume down before you push play; you’ve been warned!

There’s a little cherry on top of the sundae at the end there too if you didn’t see it. The little cheek and mouth smoosh on the hypnotized kitten produced the automatic ‘awwww’ from me I will admit. And then I hit ‘Replay Video’ and watched at least 2 more times. LOL

Thank you to the original poster of the video and for r/aww for housing true quality content. It’s exactly what the world needs more of. Now, I’m off to massage a cat face or two!

For those of you who may not have a kitty face available for rubbing, remember your local shelters always need volunteers!

REMEMBER: SPAY/NEUTER, FOSTER, VOLUNTEER, TNR & AS ALWAYS, ADOPT, DON’T SHOP!
