For anyone who watches the FX Comedy “Always Sunny In Philadelphia”, such as myself, you know of kitten mittens. The unique product was the creation of Charlie Day’s character “Charlie Kelly”. And if I was up watching late night TV, his commercial would fit right into the lineup. Although there was likely not much field testing for his invention, I’m sure they would sell like hotcakes. Not that many felines would enjoy the top quality attention their paws would receive…except for one it seems. *No cats were harmed during filming.

Because one very interested tuxedo cat showed up at Charlie Day’s home!

It was on his Instagram that the TV and movie star shared his unknown visitor with this followers. Although the sleek boy was already donning a sweet set of white booties. But over his loud purring, you can still hear the click of his claws on the flooring. So future customer purrhaps?

But Day shared the post hoping to find the owners of the cat wandering near his southern California home.

Found cat Los Feliz ish area LA. Yours?

But in true Charlie fashion, he knew that the best way to get the word out was in song.

And so the next day, he uploaded what may be one of the best lost and found cat posts out there. Of course it was to the tune used in the original Kitten Mittens commercial.

“Is your cat black? Does your cat have a white stripe on it’s nose? Does your cat have NO microchip? And a complete set of testicles? Then maybe your cat is THIS CAT… I got your cat.”

While we want nothing more for that cat than to find it’s owners, it may not even have any. At the very least, if they have not gotten him fixed or microchipped, he may be better off elsewhere. I mean, sometimes they choose you Mr. Day!

And what if the make-believe happy ending of the tuxedo boy being adopted by Charlie Day and family doesn’t come true? I’m sure he’ll find one just as lovely since Mr. Day is requiring any owners to provide photographic evidence the cat is yours. That tuxie cat is certainly receiving white glove….mitten?…. treatment!

Now, I leave you with my other favorite cat related clips/memes from Always Sunny In Philadelphia on FX. =)
