We know that cats are individuals, and there are some breeds that are naturally larger than others. But for one cat, appropriately named Big Boi Mr. B—AKA “Chonk”—he is naturally REALLY big. The more-to-love feline is described as a domestic shorthair and all-around “cool dude” with “a big heart”:
The original tweet shared from the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia:
OMG, big boi Mr. B is a CHONK. He’s a chonk of a chonk. He redefines the term. Can you guess how much he weighs? More importantly, can you give him a home? Adopt this jumbo-sized package of fluff & love: https://t.co/v8aB6PzBbL. Please RT to help this sad-eyed guy find happiness! pic.twitter.com/tquRuvRaws

Sadly, there have been many cats surrendered to animal shelters who are morbidly obese, but such is not the case with Chonk.
He’s just a really big cat!
I do believe the technical term for his size is “Oh Lawd He Comin”. Could still be a “Megachonker” but would have to see a profile pic. pic.twitter.com/DHP1KiXCkg

It seems that Chonk is around 2 years of age. And reportedly, he’s not only downright adorable, but he’s got a heart as big as he is!
Morris Animal Refuge is requesting donations for Chonk’s care. But most importantly, they’re in search of a furever home for their now-celebrity Big Boi! If you’re interested in giving this cat a home, they’re still accepting applications for the large feline.
In an update from early this morning, it seems that the photo of Chonk has garnered him lots of attention by way of applications pouring in!
Morris Animal Refuge expressed their sincere gratitude for interest in this handsome boy. But they also reminded the public that he’s not ready to go off to his furever home just yet!
