Sneaky Cat Turns Owners Alarm Clock Off Every Morning, Making Her Constantly Late For Work

There is one thing that felines know how to do at an expert level–and we’re thoroughly jealous about it: sleeping. They sleep like the absolute dead. To the point the I know I’ve had to check their breathing just to be sure they’re still alive. So when a woman’s cat in Brazil began turning her alarm clock off every morning, maybe he was just trying to help? They clearly see that we don’t meet the 15+ hours a day of quality sleep that they do.

But an alarm clock that doesn’t wake you for work, means that there will be no money for cat food!!!

However Joaquim, the over caring feline of the Sao Paulo woman, only had his owner’s best interests at heart. It’s these moments that a “cat thought translator” would have been an amazing alternative to this life lesson.

It began when his owner kept waking up late for work, seeing her alarm wasn’t going off. She was using her cell phone as an alarm, and there was nothing found wrong with the device. Tests were done and alarms set, successfully going off during the day.

But even after confidently setting the alarm, she happily dozed right through the piercing noise over and over!

Then one day, her alarm went off and she’d already woken up–thankfully. And suddenly Joaquim was up and headed right for the nightstand where the phone lay. So she grabbed her roommates phone and the two women started filming the odd actions.

What they were shocked to see, was Joaquim pawing at the phone until the alarm clock was turned off!

Apparently the caring kitty was happy to turn off the alarm so as not to disturb her. You know, it’s the caring thing to do for someone you love!

Once the alarm was silenced, Joaquim tried to get some well-deserved praise amidst the giggles. But his owner picks up the phone and he immediately tries to save her hand from the screaming device.

Fortunately, the ladies saw the amusement in what was happening and filmed his silly antics. Then they did my favorite thing…share them with the rest of us!
