As any cat owner knows, cats shed. Typically these magical fibers of love are worn all over our couches, our shirts, or pretty much anywhere we look. But what if you could actually do something with all that extra fur floating around? One photographer in Japan, Ryo Yamazaki, has done exactly that with all the fur that his three beloved Scottish Fold cats have shed. That’s right, crazy hats made of cat hair. Seems like the possibilities are endless–just like cat shedding!
His cats, Nya, Maru and Mugi serve as his devoted models for his crazy cat hair creations, and from the looks of it, they don’t seem to mind it one bit!

Some that see this may find it completely bizarre and a bit gross. And there may be those that realize this is the bonus of keeping your cat brushed, lessening furballs. Then there are others that will immediately being gathering fur in preparation for their own “upcycled” crafts. But no matter what you may do with your felines shedding, remember that “Cat hair is ALWAYS an accessory!”
