It seems like every other day I receive messages and comments from fans around the world telling us how much they enjoy our videos and how they help them when they’re feeling down.
People dealing with depression, anxiety or illness have all expressed how the videos of Cole and Marmalade are a bright spot during their day and help put a smile on their face no matter what they’re going through.
It’s great to receive messages like this knowing that the content we create as a positive effect on people who need it the most and further fuels my desire to keep creating entertaining and educational videos.
We recently had the pleasure of meeting a young lady named Hannah Kiresuk who is one of Cole and Marmalade’s biggest fans! Hannah as battled Juvenile Myasthenia Gravis (MG) for the past 4 years and currently needs to raise $500,000 for a life saving bone marrow transplant.
Her body as rejected all other treatments for MG… She needs a bone marrow transplant, but because this treatment is not FDA approved, her insurance will not cover it.
Before she became sick Hannah was a very active teen, In 7th grade she was already in highschool varsity skiing. She misses it so much…
She got accepted to the University of Minnesota a few years ago, but had to cancel those plans because she was just too sick and had too many treatments to make college life feasible 🙁
She loves this group called Beads of Courage… For every treatment or procedure, she gets a special glass bead… Hannah has thousands!
Beads of Courage is a really awesome program that gives art to children with serious illnesses. It’s encouraging, and gives the kids mile markers for each procedure. http://www.beadsofcourage.org/
None of us should ever feel alone in our struggles, Cole and Marmalade have helped us so much personally since they came into our lives… Jess deals with anxiety on a daily basis and she swears that Cole can sense when she’s having a rough time and comes over to comfort her and we have both dealt with depression in the past as well.
So we decided to create the Promote Pawsitivity campaign so people can create an amazing support circle online and across the world to help each of us find the joy in life we all deserve.
We created a logo and started selling shirts and hoodie online… Purrchase Here!
100% of the proceeds from this campaign will be donated to Hannah Kiresuk and her family, you can learn more about Hannah and donate directly here: http://www.cotaforhannahk.com/

As I said before, Cole and Marm videos help us a lot back in Brazil when we lost our loved black cat Xingu, and we are thankful for that. And now we are also thankful for this beautiful gesture. Promote pawsitivity!
PS: can´t wait to see the video about Operation Catnip =D
Sorry to hear of your loss, glad our vids helped you during this difficult time, yep the Operation Catnip video will be uploaded in a couple weeks 🙂
You really are wonderful people!
Thank you so much for all you do to spread goodness for others through the love of cats and their humans. Cole & Marmalade make us laugh and we enjoy all the videos you share. I struggle with anxiety and depression, too. My cats have saved my life. Promote Pawsitivity!
Purrs,
Stacey
Thanks Stacey, we do our best, stay pawsitive! 🙂
Hey Chris, any plans of doing a video to dispel the many myths and misconceptions about cat nutrition? People saw so many times on TV and films cat being fed milk, raw fish or tuna that it has became their first choice when feeding either their own cats or strays, there’s even people that believe a cat can live off on dry food alone, when in reality, all these in excess can be prejudicial to cats.
Hey Francois, yeah another video I’d like to produce in the future, just not enough hours in the day…
I always find your videos enjoyable and Cole and Marmalade are hilarious. My niece Scarlett loves them and always asks to watch your videos on YouTube whenever she comes to visit me. I suffer with anxiety problems and my Kasha seems to know when I’m having a bad day too. She gives me extra cuddles and spends a lot of her time on my lap 🙂
Hi Ann Marie, glad to hear you and your niece both enjoy our vids, it’s really great to read messages like this and inspires me to keep making the videos to make people laugh 🙂 … Say hello to Kasha for us!
I suffer from depression and my cats are the best medicine every! I have a beautiful Cole look a like who I rescued. My boyfriend has two gorgeous back and white boys then our lovley little naughty tortie! Just make my life complete
Hi Alison, I agree they really are the best medicine, so happy to hear you’re one big happy family 🙂 #staypawsitive
I want to congratulate you for having such a great group of followers: no flaming or bullying here 😀 If you ever decide to create a cat forum, count me in as a paying member. Well done Jess and Chris >)
Thanks, we like to keep things pawsitive 🙂
I would just like to say that both your little menaces brighten up my day. I’ve had a rough year in university and seeing Cole and Marmalade being silly or just down right adorable has brought a smile to my face when all I wanted was to cry.
Thank you do much for sharing your kitties with the world.
Give my love to the two fur babies as well.
Best wishes
