Very often, cats blur the lines between reality and off-the-wall cartoon characters. No matter what they do, they’re silly goobers, and they teach us not to take life so seriously.
Being goofballs is what two rescued kitties, Harold and Beebis, are best at. At least, we think Beebis is a real cat. But she’s also like an animated character, too!

Harold and Beebis – The Goobers
Four-year-old black and white cat Harold lives with 2-year-old Sasha, a.k.a. Beebis. Both came from the same rescue, Feline/Canine Friends, Inc., but Beebis arrived home a year after Harold. Nevertheless, it wasn’t long before they became the best friends ever.
A cute tortoiseshell kitten, Beebis always has her tongue out, almost a full-time blep, with shortened ears.

As for her unusual ears, she arrived in the shelter that way. But her imperfections just make her even cuter.
“The shelter was not sure what happened to her ears when they found her. Maybe frostbite, an accident, or maybe she was born like that,” Halie wrote.
Given her tongue situation, some wondered if this kitty had a dental issue, but after a vet check, Halie replied that Beebis was determined healthy. Thus, she’s just a little silly and special that way. And who doesn’t love that tongue blep?
It’s Beebis’ World
Considering how cute Beebis is, her mom decided she was determined to make her famous on social media. And by the sheer power of Harold and Beebis’s gooberness, they gained almost 27K followers in a couple of years.
With so much serious chaos going on in the world, it seems this is what everyone needs more of. And while Beebis may have “floof for a brain,” her mom says, “She’s literally the prettiest thing to exist” and “it’s her world!”
They’re pure silliness, and just what the doctor ordered.

Harold and Beebis Go Viral
It was just a matter of time for Beebis to go viral. One of her viral moments paired her with just the right goofy song, “I Swallowed Shampoo” by Soupy Garbage Juice.

Another viral moment paired Beebis with the zany cartoon Mummy Joe. As the story goes, the goober is off to Ibiza on a field trip. Everyone loved it, purrticularly because the wacky voice seems to match the kitty nicely.
“This is so cute because it sounds like what she would actually sound like,” said one person.

Harold the Goober/Car
Although Harold may get a little overshadowed by Beebis, he’s very much a beloved baby in this home, even if everyone mistakingly calls him a “car” instead of a cat. Spell check does that sometimes.
