Christopher Watson from Tacoma, Washington, is the self-described ‘Catluminati” who has an ameowzing way with cats. We love how he interacts with them whenever he goes literally anywhere on ‘Catwalks.’ But that said, we’re also a little concerned there are so many kitties outdoors with so many dangers at every turn.
But we’ll have to put that aside for a moment, though, because it can’t be denied that he really has an awe-inspiring way with felines. He rarely meets a cat that doesn’t seem to instantly know he’s the ‘cat guy’ and walks right over to greet him warmly and often humorously. He’s an expurrt on cat behavior and knows most of the cat’s names. And their humans love seeing their cats having so much fun!
As we know, cats often choose their people; however they do it, they know what they know. Do these many outdoor cats sense his vibe? We think so! Maybe there’s some unseen magic behind the so-called ‘cat distribution system.’ Or maybe cats are just talking to each other in secret meetings.
“People ask me what the name Catluminati means, where it comes from. It’s because people said that; it seems the cats are having secret meetings about me,” Watson told the Tacoma News Tribune.
Being a Catluminati Runs in the Family
Over the summer, the Catluminati introduced the world to his lovely sister Kay Lee.
Does she have that mystical something that lets cats know she’s part of the feline-tened group who adore felines?
Yes, it looks like Kay Lee was readily accepted as part of the Catluminati. Does it run in the family? Or do the cats know she’s one of the good ones by association with her brother? Or both? Whatever it is, the kitties readily came up to her, too.
At the start of the Catwalk with her brother, Kay Lee met Catalina, the tabby cutie, and Cow Mary, the black and white spotted cat, who had no problem offering her butt for adoration. It was off to a great start!
Then, her brother introduced her to the famous Toast Malone, the Siamese, who Kay Lee instantly recognized from previous Catwalk videos. Would Toast let her pick him up to adore as he does with Christopher? Yep!
Meeting Floofy Queen Naptime
And finally, it was time for a ‘Queen to meet another Queen,’ when Kay Lee met the fluffy black kitty, Naptime. These names are so ameowzing too!
“I shall bow down to you,’ Kay Lee said as the regal black floof approached from the lawn, followed later by her friend, Mr. Furley.
How would Naptime react to her adoring fan? Watch the video below to see! And who wouldn’t want to join them on the Catwalk? Tacoma has something extra-special and unusual going on with these friendly cats in the golden sunshine. We just hope the Catluminati will always be watching to protect them.

More Catluminati Meowmbers
On Instagram, Kay Lee also met Mr. Furley and several other ‘Graybies,’ who came up while she was ‘making biscuits on Naptime.’
“He gives big purrs,” Kay Lee said of Mr. Furley.
Alas, Mr. Furley’s brother was the one who wasn’t so friendly. But the other kitties knew the Catluminati immediately when they saw them. Cats know what they know.
