A photogenic dilute calico with the cutest little mews, Daisy, took over foster mom Frankie’s feed after arriving at 5 weeks old. She and her tiny brother were just the medicine everyone needed: insanely cute and happy little furbabies.
Daisy and Finn, the grey kitten, seemed to love posing for the camera. So, who could blame anyone for taking picture after picture of this duo?
Well, everyone fell for these two, but suddenly, there was troubling news: Finn had the dreaded Panleuk or feline parvovirus. He quickly succumbed and crossed the rainbow bridge despite 24/7 efforts from veterinarians, thanks to Best Friends Los Angeles. It was a heartbreaking blow for the foster mom, who had also recently lost her first foster baby ever.
Nevertheless, Frankie continued fostering, which is heroic. Even the most experienced fosterer will eventually face such heartbreaks through no fault of their own. But they keep on going to save the ones they can, like Daisy!
The encouraging news was, against all odds, the cute kitten was miraculously negative for Panleukopenia! She made it and never came down with the virus. Even so, she needed to undergo treatment anyway to be safe.
A ‘Montage of Mews’ from Daisy the Survivor
After losing her tiny brother, seeing Daisy recover without missing a beat was heartwarming. Her tiny mews, crystal blue eyes, and white socks became the sunshine everyone needed. She remained healthy and strong and so beautiful!

A Natural-Born Meowdel
Every week, there was a “Daisy Top 5,” as each picture was cuter than the next. She was a natural meowdel. Have you seen anything cuter really?
“This weeks Daisy top 5!🌟This little lady loves the camera!📸 And it clearly loves her back!”
Her Brother is Smiling Down On Her
Two weeks after completing her treatment, Daisy was officially a Panleuk survivor. Frankie said her little brother was surely smiling down on her as she continued to thrive and radiate sunshine.
“Daisy, your brother is smiling down on you and is SO proud!!!!🥹❤️”
In the blink of an eye, Daisy was of age to reach the all-important Spay day and find a furever home. Unlike so many kittens, she had a home lined up immediately with an outpouring of interest. That was something to mew about too!
“As we know, Daisy tragically lost her brother but I am so pleased to report she will be gaining 2 cat siblings!!🥹One of whom is a kitten just like her who will match her energy!😍 This sweet girl has SO much to look forward to and parents who are so excited to welcome and spoil her!!🥰 HUGE CONGRATS to the new family!❤️❤️❤️”
One last time, her foster mom shared a montage of tiny mews, sleepy purrs, and squeaks.
“It’s a series now😂 Ladies and Gentlemen, the FINAL installment of the EPIC summer trilogy we never knew we needed! 🎥 “Daisy’s Montage of Mew’s” Part 3: The Final Chapter😻 Enjoy!💗” shared Frankie’s Fosters.
A Look Back on Daisy and Her Transfurmation
Before she set sail for a happy future, her mama took a look back at how far she had come in just a month.
“Daisy transformation post!🥹🥰 Baby girl has come a LONG way!!🙌🏼 1 month between both (including 1 week in Panleuk treatment). Keep growing little girl!!💗💗💗”
And here she is, all grown up and loving life with her siblings, Maxipoo and Neko, in Long Beach, CA. As you can see, she’s having a wonderful life thanks to so many kind people’s efforts, love, and generosity.
“She loves laying by the window 🪟🌙 ☀️,” shared max.daisy.neko.
