A Kentucky veterinarian, Dr. Matt McGlasson, has a way with cats, people, and social media. As a common theme, he says his comedic videos “celebrate the power of the human-animal bond.” On TikTok, he’s become famous for rating his feline and other patients for such things as ‘squishiness factor,’ ‘teefers,’ ‘teeny tiger vibes,’ or ‘smol beans.’
During the pandemic, his family rescued and rehabilitated four kittens, and his staff knows he has a ‘soft spot‘ for cats in general. While he loves dogs, he says, “cats are badass” and, like dogs, provide companionship and emotional support. As all cat lovers know, being owned by a cat can help reduce feelings of loneliness and depression.
Although he loves all kitties, he has a special place in his heart for black cats, like we do!
“Did you know holding a tiny void brings you 100 years of good luck? 🐱🙌❤️” he shared.

Below, Dr. McGlasson rates a ‘tiny void’ kitten, Elvira. Truth be told, she automatically won points for being a super cute house panther. But wait until you see the other cat-egories!
“Tiny voids always get good scores from me 🙌,” he shared.
The vet rated this kitty on these funny cat-egories:
-
Bombastic side eye

As the video showed, Dr. McGlasson gave Elvira a final score based on her stealing his soul with her cuteness! Online, people had many amewsing comments to her.
“Her name alone is a 10/10 sooo 💅,” said Jessee from Arkansas.
“Black lipstick. She’s very trendy,” said Alyson N.
“Sorry about your soul, but I endorse her stealing them,🐾” said Mel D.
“Smöl voids are worth losing your soul over 🖤,” said Caitlin D.
“Way off on the side-eye score! That’s an 11 out of 10. She’s perfect!” said Kristen R.
Judging RuPaul – the Cat
At home, Dr. McGlasson’s family is owned by a cat named RuPaul, who often appears with him online. Years ago, RuPaul was rescued as a kitten who couldn’t use her back legs. Regardless, she has fully adapted and gets around fine on her front legs. Incredibly, her story has appeared on national news, as the vet talked about her unique purrsonality and strong bond with her family.
As you can easily see, RuPaul is one charismatic cat who tends to give off some sardonic Garfield-like vibes. Wherever she goes, her unique cattitude tends to steal the show. Hey, maybe Dr. McGlasson should enter RuPaul into the The Garfield Movie 2024 contest!
“Just a normal week…. 🙈😹”
“Me: Ru, I really need you to look happy in this photo. PLEASE smile and no RBF. Deal? 🙏🏼” McGlasson shared.
And, here’s how he rated RuPaul as a “teeny sass” renowned for many things like her exceptional biscuit-making skills.
Finding Nemo the Cat
Not long ago, one of Dr. McGlasson’s patients was extremely lucky to find him. Nemo, the cat, arrived to be put down because he had a badly injured leg. But the staff knew McGlasson wouldn’t let that happen. Of course he rescued Nemo, who adjusted just fine to life as a tripod. Then, he found a loving furever home with one of the vet techs!
And here’s how Dr. McGlasson rated Nemo, giving him off-the-chart scores for his “Goodest boy factor.”
