A sweet orange and white cat name Prince Chester was trying to survive in the city with two mangled back paws. Brooklyn rescuers weren’t sure how he got injured, but he limped with several broken toes on his right foot. He must have been in considerable pain and yet remained so sweet with his rescuers.
He had a noble sort of air about him despite his long suffering. So much so, he earned a princely name. You can see it in his picture below.

Getting Prince Chester Back On His Four Paws
Shockingly, Prince Chester had been walking around with broken toes for over a month! By that time, the toes couldn’t be saved, so the best solution was specialized surgery to remove them. The area is lucky to have access to veterinary specialists in Plainview, New York, that “emphasized pet well-being and stress reduction.”
Saving a Life for the Cost of a Pedicure
To top it off, the charismatic cat was suffering from ringworm. He quietly endured a miserable existence. But thanks to rescuers at Greenpoint Cats, Prince Chester’s life was about to turn around.
For Prince Chester to get the health care he needed, it would take multiple kind people to donate. They estimated the cost in a relatable way. But could they get 50 people to donate for this cat?
“How you can help us get Prince Chester back on his (four) feet 🐈: a NYC pedicure costs around $40. We need 50 people to donate that amount to help this Prince have beautiful (and pain-free) paws again! You know what feels better than a pedicure ? Saving a life!”

The Fresh Prince of Greenpoint looked lovingly at his royal attendant while wearing his not-so-regal plastic cone.
Later, the regal feline got a flowery plush alternative that’s too cute and befitting a prince. When he’s fully recovered, we’re sure his charms will continue to hold a lucky royal court somewhere in the Brooklyn area.
