Care for a Dinner Roll with Cranberry Sauce to accompany your regularly scheduled kitten content? Foster mom, Allison from Green Bay, Wisconsin, hosted more foster babies in 2022 named after tasty food. We previously shared the story of her “Tiny Kitten Gang” babies named after mouth-watering appetizers.

“Is it obvious that a pregnant lady named these kittens? ” she wrote on Instagram.

After the appetizing kittens found homes, she took in two “impossibly cute” fosters from a larger litter named for Thanksgiving foods. These two were recovering from a URI but improved quickly.

They were friendly little “purr monsters” who only wanted to play and be cuddled. It’s kittens like these that are ideal if you’re considering trying fostering for the first time.

Allison said they were “such fun fosters.”

“This is Dinner Roll and her sister is Cranberry Sauce. Somehow, they’ve already been nicknamed Rollie & Cran. They are about six weeks old! They’re part of a larger group that all came to the shelter from the same place,” she shared.

At six-weeks-old, the kittens were active little explorers in the kitten room.

Impossibly Cute

The sister kittens have totally different, complimentary purrsonalities. While Cran is content to wait for some affection, Rollie is ready to sop up the love at all times. And she’s not one bit shy about it.

“This perfectly captures their personalities. Cranberry Sauce is mostly very calm, kind of dainty, and will wait patiently for me to pet her. Dinner Roll never stops moving and just demands snuggles 😂 They are both so, so sweet and impossibly cute.”

And Rollie was obsessed with soaking up the love.

“Dinner Roll is a little bit obsessed with me and I’m ok with it. I always try to pet her like this but instead she jumps down the cat tree and then tries to climb me to get closer. If I sit down, she’ll either plop herself in my lap or climb up on my shoulders and rub against my neck I hope whoever adopts this love bug is ready for some very aggressive affection.”

Foster Mom Can’t Stop Taking Pictures

Just 24 hours in, Allison found she couldn’t stop taking more pictures and videos of Dinner Roll and Cranberry Sauce. Everyone can see why. They were so photogenic and alas, they only stay this little for what seems like a flash.

These two kittens don’t look real, they’re so cute. The kittens posed on a ridiculously cute tiny bed.

“I cannot handle how cute they are. My phone is absolutely loaded with photos and videos already and they’ve been here less than 24 hours 😂”

Allison had a “Sweater Weather” photo shoot as the weather was getting cool.

Thanksgiving Leftovers Find a Home

The day after Thanksgiving 2022, the kittens were ready for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society. The same day, someone wanted a heaping helping and adopted them!

Dinner Roll and Cranberry Sauce were off to bring delectable goodness to their new family. But for Allison, it was time to deep clean the kitten room and prepare for more black and white fluffy appetizers, like Mac and Pretzel.

You can follow Allison, the Appetizer Kittens, and her Tiny Kitten Gang on InstagramFacebook, and TikTok.
