An adorable silver tabby, Roscoe, stayed in foster care longer than any other kitten. Foster mom Devin couldn’t believe the sweetie had no adoption interest after five months! Why wasn’t he scooped up like his siblings, considering he’s beautiful and has “the softest coat on the planet?”
Maybe it’s because this kitty tends to be shy at first. But, given some effort to gain his trust, he opens up and is the “sweetest boy.” The tabby also loves other kitties, and Devin caught him sharing many cute and tender moments with his foster siblings.
Roscoe Has the Softest Tummy
Here’s Roscoe showing off one of his best assets, that soft tummy.
“Poor Roscoe has been with me for 5 months now (so much longer than I’ve ever had a kitten) with zero adoption interest. 😭,” Devin shared. “He’s very very shy at first, so he needs an adopter who is willing to be patient with him and earn his trust. Once he opens up he’s the sweetest boy with the softest tummy!!! Please help me by sharing to get this handsome boy seen 💕”
He Loves a Cuddle Puddle
This cat’s sweetness is proven time and time again in the sweetest videos. And the people who’ve met him are also puzzled why he’s not found his family already.
“I’ve seen Roscoe many times in person, and he is SO cute; it’s a crime he’s not taken. He will be the most loyal and loving pet to someone who proves his trust,” said one person.
Here he is cuddling with Archie, the beloved resident cat, who wanted a big hug. When Roscoe was still a small kitten, the foster dad Archie tenderly loved him and his sister Gracie (later adopted). Archie loves to care for all the foster kittens. The foster dad cat cuddled Roscoe when he was a little one, but now he’s almost grown up.
“Adopt Roscoe! He’s a very shy boy and needs your love and patience to open up, but earning his trust is so rewarding. He’s sweet, gentle, and loving – including with other cats 🥰”
Below, the tabby cuddles up with Agnes, another kitten who soon found a home.
“Roscoe is a very sweet boy and is looking for a very special adopter who can give him extra time and patience to come out of his shell. I hope that special someone is out there!”
