Krieger, the black and white cat, was exceptionally crabby one morning, waiting for his dog sibling Luigi to come to get his breakfast. His mom, who goes by Jocasta on TikTok, caught the cat on video as he sat by the window, impatient to see the dog show up already. When was that dog going to come anyway? He was hangry! (see video below)
The crabby kitty sat by the window, watching impatiently for Luigi to come home from the horse farm. Jocasta shared what became a viral TikTok as she asked the cat about his cattitude. She had never heard the cat make these funny vocalizations as if he was mocking her, as if saying, “Blah blah blah blah.” Certainly, he wasn’t happy with the service and wanted to speak to management or leave a bad review online.

Krieger the Cat is Hangry!
What do you suppose Krieger was trying to say? See our video about the sounds Cole and Marmalade make for some clues. Krieger’s vocalizations might be an example of chattering, the “ek ek ek,” that is so funny when cats are watching birds. It’s done in anticipation of the bird’s demise, but hopefully Krieger wasn’t having such thoughts about mommy, or was he? It does seem like Krieger is filing a nasty complaint.
It’s times like these that some of us are thankful we haven’t translated the cat language just yet.
Daily Cattitude From a Drama Cat
The comments on TikTok suggested the cat was giving a purrfectly reasonable explanation. Maybe, he gave a detailed list of complaints when she asked, “Why are you so mad?”‘
“Krieger is my biggest drama cat for sure,” said Jocasta.
There was “daily cattitude” from Krieger, but this funny response was something new.
“I’ve never heard this noise come out of you!” said Mom. “I know you’re just waiting for the dog to come home so you can get fed, but this is really unusual.”

Krieger Has to Wait for His Furry Siblings
So, why did Krieger have to wait for that intolerably slow dog anyway? Well, it was because Mom feeds all the pets together. Anyone with a multi-pet household knows a daily routine at feeding time is essential to keeping everyone happy.
In a follow-up TikTok she shows how feeding time goes. When Luigi arrives, Krieger and his cat siblings Archer and Lana (also named from the animated Archer series) get their meal. Then, after the cats are served, it’s Luigi’s turn in his big dog bowl. There is a method to the madness.
Lana has a special purple slow feeder since she tends to eat too fast.
“A lot of people asked why Krieger had to wait for the dog and wanted to see them getting fed,” Jocasta shared.
A Nightly Grooming Party
Although Krieger seems crabby, he’s a very happy kitty when things are on schedule. He loves his brother Archer and they have a “nightly grooming party,” Jocasta explained. It seems this kitty just likes a tightly-run ship and gets crabby if he’s thrown off his routine.
Krieger, Archer, and Lana
Lana and Archer both have funny purrsonalities and do silly things too. Jocasta takes it as a compliment when people say she’s a “cat lady.”
“Why do people think becoming a ‘cat lady; is horrible? Cats are awesome,” she says, happy to get so much love from Archer.
