Opposites attract, which is true for two cats, Mike and Will, who grew up at Feline Friends, a Chicago rescue. Both were born on February 20 2022. The two cats look quite different, but it’s their purrsonalities that make them opposites! Like the Paula Abdul song, when they get together, they have nothin’ but fun. That’s why the rescuers want them to find a furever home together.

Here’s how the rescuers describe Will, aka “Little Squeaker,” a sleek black beauty with green eyes:

“Will, aka Little Squeaker, is as cute as they come. He doesn’t have much of a meow, but he prefers to communicate in adorable little squeaks to get his point across! He also likes to greet you with a big stretch, using your legs as his wall! He definitely loves to play, especially with toys that make noise, and his brother Mike. He is also an avid birdwatcher, and enjoys sitting in the window to see what they’re up to. Will enjoys pets, and snuggles, and definitely loves curling up with his brother for a long nap after an especially grueling play session! He also enjoys sleeping up high- cat trees, shelves, or on top of anything high off the ground. This sweet, playful boy, would love to go to a forever home with his brother Mike.”

Contrast Will’s somewhat reserved purrsonality with his bold and chatty brother Mike, a white kitty with big black cow spots. While Mike is the more outgoing of the two, he shares a love for playing with his brother and snuggling.

“What is the opposite of shy? Mike, that’s what! He will go as far as hopping onto your lap to get your attention! He just wants to make sure you know he’s there and ready for action. He is a very chatty kitty and likes to tell you about his day. His other favorite thing is playing of course! He loves to run around and play until his little heart’s content, and then he will promptly fall asleep in whatever spot he lands in. He loves snuggling, especially with his brother, Will. He will climb up on you as well and walk across you to see what you’re up to. Little Mike would love to go to a forever home with his brother, Will.”

Despite their differences, Mike and Will are besties and love nothing more than playtime.

“These two boys love, love, love to play! They will run around and chase each other until they tire themselves out, and then curl up together for a nice relaxing Nap to rest up for round 2. They both love their toys, and most importantly, each other,” the rescuers said.

Mike and Will Are Nothing But Fun

These two will definitely keep their humans entertained with their funny antics.

“Mike is more bold than Will, announcing his presence and asking for attention, while Will is a little less forward. Mike loves to play in water while Will prefers dry land and Bird Watching. That said, they have quite a bit in common too! Mike and Will are nothing but fun and would love to go to their Forever Home together as a pair,” they shared.

As hard as it is to believe, this duo has been looking for a home since July 2022. How is that even possible?

As we’ve shared many times, adopting cats in duos is often the best idea, especially when you are lucky enough to find a bonded pair. There are many reasons for this, but also, it’s wonderful to see them loving life together.

The rescuers are also always looking for foster homes for cats and kittens.
