Benji Binx is a tiny kitten who met Ava the puppy in foster care. Together, they will almost certainly be the cutest thing you’ll see today.
In late August, Tiny Paws Fosters, a foster home in Riverview, Florida, took a “tiny wittle man” into their care. At just four weeks old, the kitten was off to a rough start, covered in ringworm “from head to toe.”
Below, you can see the kitten that would soon be dubbed Benji Binx. Here, he is half laying, half standing, but otherwise “a regular little guy.”
“We got a tiny wittle man in the house! This little guy is 4 weeks young and sadly covered in ringworm from head to toe. Thankfully, he has no idea he is as ringworm is not painful. He’s also having some tummy problems and struggling to poop frequently, so I’m working on that as well. Besides all of that, he is stinking perfect and so adorable. I mean, look at that tiny bleep!”
A couple of days later, the kitten was doing great.
“Little man is doing so well. He’s pooping daily, loves his bottle and his heartbeat stuffy, and is cute as a button.”
Benji Binx Gets His Official Name
Tiny Paws was still considering names by early September, as the kitten was already confidently weaning from the bottle. Then, he officially became Benji Binx.
“This tiny handsome man finally has a name… Benji Binx! I’ve called him for weeks Binx but kept saying it’s not his “real” name and finally decided on Benji. Well, my husband keeps calling him Binx so, now he has a middle name. He looks so much better than when he arrived here and is completely over ringworm, new fur growth, and no new spots in weeks.”
Below, you can see him soaking in the affection.
“Friday nights with this weirdo!”
Benji Binx Meets Ava the Puppy
In mid-September, the foster home began caring for a puppy named Ava. Her foster family was out of town, so she needed a place to stay for a few days. In the meantime, Ava and Benji Binx met each other for the first time. As you can see, the pictures are too adorable for words.
Keep in mind, in another week; the puppy will be double Benji’s size.
“Benji Binx made a new friend! Little Ava has been staying with us while her foster mom is out of town. Both were very curious about the other but unsure what to do with that curiosity. There was lots of sniffing and something that could have turned into playtime, but Benji had things to do, and he ran off.”
Puppy and Kitten Become Best Friends
By the next day, the two babies were the best of friends, seen playing in the video below:
“Benji Binx and Ava have become best friends! Benji even jumps into her gated area to play with her and the second Ava sees him she wants out to play. It’s so cute, but they do make me nervous with their wittle sharp claws.”
Is there anything cuter than this? It’s moments like these that make all the effort so worthwhile for those who provide foster homes for kittens and puppies! Follow Tiny Paws Fosters on Facebook to see more about Benji Binx and many other kitty cuties.
