Lucky “the ninja kitty” is a “crazy crawler” who is crawling all over Instagram. She’s a 1-year-old American Shorthair ninja who sometimes sports a pink bow.
In June, her humans shared a video of Lucky making a little mewing sound as she appeared to stalk the cameraman across the carpet. Lying close to the floor, she uses her claws for traction, shuffling along in a way you have to see for yourself. It could be impossible not to laugh, and it looks like she’s having so much fun. (see video below)
In one day, the post gathered over 2,400 likes on Facebook.
The Ninja Kitty
The Night Crawler Ninja Kitty
In another video, Lucky is a crazy “night crawler.” For her, the carpet is one big horizontal climbing wall.
In the darkened room, her eyes glow like little flashlights. After seeing more Instagram posts, her fondness for crazy carpet crawling is evident.
Disappearing into the Shadows
When she isn’t using her ninja moves along the floor, she’s chasing her tail or disappearing into a cardboard box. With her black fur, only her eyes are visible, and even those are hard to spot.
Stalking in the Sunbeams
Indeed, this ninja kitty is a master of the shadows, disappearing in an instant. However, it appears she’s just as fond of basking in a sunbeam or crazy crawling in one.
This ninja kitty sometimes wears a pink bow as she slinks her way along a different carpet.
By late July, Luck the ninja kitty had a soundtrack with her popular carpet crawling post. Now, it’s complete and really takes it to an epic level.
“I’m just starting to figure Instagrams reels and adding music to videos, so the James Bond theme seemed fitting for this one 😂”
The Sneaky Snake
In another edit, the ninja kitty becomes a “Sneaky snake.” One person comments, “Lol, she is gorgeous. I love the happy blink at the end. Do you lose it over these antics, or you’re just used to it now?”
“❤️😂 It’s still funny every time,” they replied.
Recently, actress, comedian, and writer Amy Sedaris posted the Ninja Kitty where over 151,000 people have viewed it. In the comments, many people were reminded of Toothless the black dragon. The dragon is featured in the computer-animated movie “How to Train Your Dragon.” Yes, it’s easy to see the similarity in appearance and the slinky movements.
According to her Instagram page, Lucky Kitty was diagnosed with FIV+. However, that clearly. doesn’t stop her from living a happy life. She seems to be living it up as a Ninja Kitty, and her crazy crawl is giving us life!
