A woman named Moniqa dropped off her foster kitten at the Dallas Humane Society for his neuter surgery the next day. And that is when fate followed her into the building. Because at the same time, another person was seeking help with a month old kitten. Sadly, the kittens mother had met her end at a local Home Depot when a forklift driver didn’t spot her in time. Other workers all took the kittens home to care for them. But then, this person wisely accepted the fact caring for a month old kitten was too much work for them. However, the Humane Society was full and at the young age, the kitten would need to be bottle fed. Every 4 hours, round the clock. Something most humane societies aren’t able to do. But Moniqa happened to have taken a bottle baby class the week before at Dallas Pets Alive.

And it was Moniqa that was able to help save that month old kittens life.

Knowing that she was going to miss her ginger buddy named Cheeseburger that night, she happily took the tiny kitten. She’s also a big fan of the ginger cats so that alone was reason to welcome him into her life.

And although this would be the first bottle baby she cared for, she bravely stepped up for the little soul. She shared the story on her Instagram page @fierymon.

The tiny cheese puff was appropriately named Kismet. And of course he is as cute as can be!

With that fiery ginger cattitude that Moniqa loves.

Glow Up in Foster Care

Her time with Cheeseburger went by too fast, he was off to his furever home. Which left little Kismet to explore the foster home and other fosters cats. While initially wobbly, the brave boy found himself surrounded with love and furry foster friends.

As for feeding times, milk moustaches and ear wiggles are likely a favorite of Moniqa now. All because of a impromptu bottle baby class she attended. Fate knew exactly who was going to be Kismets next hero.

And although he may still be battling with his limbs, it’s utterly adorable to watch.
