Tiny kittens experience sunbeams for the first time, and it’s just too adorable. For them, everything is new, so they don’t know they can’t reach out and grab the sunshine.  Watching them gives us a chance to look at the world with wonder again, as if through their kitten-blue eyes.

A foster mom in California was caring for a tiny tabby kitten named Rue and caught so many of her first moments. Rue and her identical brother Fez (named for Euphoria characters) were exploring everything in their playpen for the first time and making magical memories for the foster mom and followers.

That’s when she caught the moment Rue ventured across the floor into a sunbeam. Such a simple moment in time went viral across social media. Can you remember the first time you touched a sunbeam and looked at everything with such innocence and wonder?

Orphan Kitten Club foster mom Yige Zhao then shared when brother Fez was rolling around as if in a pink cloud and purring away sweetly.

“This rainy weather is making me want to snuggle up in a fluffy pink cloud with Fez 💕,” shared Zhao.

Baby Cole Playing in a Sunbeam

One of the very first videos from Cole and Marmalade showed baby Cole basking in the sunbeams and chasing his own shadow on the tiled floor. Do you remember the time?

“What is that other kitten doing down there, and why can’t I catch them?” Cole wondered. He was “shadow boxing” and then tried to catch the sunbeam with his paw.

Maz and Calypso Meet Their First ‘Butterfly’

And here’s Mazikeen and Calypso meeting a “butterfly” for the first time as kittens, which Marmalade also did when he was a baby. Both kittens were completely fascinated by the fluttering inside the glass jar, rolling around in a sunbeam together. Then, Bond got in on the fun for a moment too!
