Nathan the CatLady, is rolling out a welcome wagon of goodies for an amazing new fostering group called “Nathan’s Fosters” in LA only (for now). The welcome bundle will be a dream for those who have always wanted to foster kittens and cats. At a value of around $300, the bundle has all kinds of items you’ll need… and love!
Included are food and litter that should last about two months. Other items will last for many years to come. Plus, you get the official Nathan’s Foster’s sticker. What a great way to welcome and encourage much-needed foster providers! To start, Nathan Kehn will be aiming for 20 new fosters in Los Angeles only to start. But, if it takes off, it could go nationwide!
To be considered for Nathan’s Fosters, those in Los Angeles only can apply on the Stray Cat Alliance website. Be sure to note that you are applying as a Nathan’s Foster.
“Essentially, I think we can all agree that these kitties need to be out of their tiny enclosures and into a loving home,” Nathan says.
If approved for the program, you get to join the private Facebook group for Nathan’s Fosters. There, you can post about your fostering experience and support others. Some of your posts could go out to thousands of cat lovers on his platforms. Because who doesn’t love support and the knowledgeable experience from a bunch of cat lovers?! And, you can bask in Nathan’s glowing presence, an enviable perk indeed! 😉

The welcome bundle includes many items sure to be a hit with foster kittens or adult cats.
As we know, fostering tends to mean unexpected things happen. However, you’ll have a built-in support group with the others in the unique program. That is a really sweet benefit all by itself.

Next, you can see one of the first foster kitties enjoying their Nathan’s Fosters blankie. How cute is that?
Nathan’s Fosters Partnership with Stray Cat Alliance
Nathan’s Fosters is a partnership with the Los Angeles-based nonprofit Stay Cat Alliance. With spring on the way, they are preparing to help over 3,000 cats this year. So, they will need all the help they can get from Nathan’s Fosters and many others.
To be considered for Nathan’s Fosters, those in Los Angeles only can apply on the Stray Cat Alliance website. Be sure to note that you are applying as a Nathan’s Foster. Nathan appears in the new documentary, Cat Daddies, which we will be looking at in another article soon!
Those not interested in fostering can also help out with volunteer work, donating to cover lifesaving care, and in many other ways.
For those not in Los Angeles, your local animal rescue groups and shelters will generally offer considerable support to help you get started. While you might not get a deluxe welcome wagon like Nathan’s Fosters, (or his premium one-of-a-kind sticker) you might be surprised how much help is available if you reach out and ask.
We say congratulations in advance to those who make it to Nathan’s Fosters. We will look forward to seeing the stories of your foster babies!
