Henry, the rescued flame point Siamese from Kentucky, is a skilled, motivational speaker and sage Buddha cat who gives great advice. But he’s also a Cat Soap Opera star along with his cat siblings Otis and Curtis.
Previously, we shared the story of the Winds of Change soap opera that started as a creative outlet during the pandemic. This time, we’re looking at “Henry’s Thoughts,” and wow, does he have a lot to share.
Advice from a Wise Buddha Cat
As well as being a comedian, Henry is a wise sage Buddha cat. You never know what he and his brothers will be up to. But Henry is often there to make you laugh and help his followers get through both good and rough times. The cuddly kitty’s wise tips may be what you need if you’re having a low mental health day, as we all sometimes do.
For cat lovers, getting some meaningful insight delivered from Henry might allow you to see things in a new light. Purrhaps his feline charms could catch you off guard and take things less seriously than they need to be?
As Henry’s follower Cutie Pie Scout said, “Mental health advice is better when it comes from cats. 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Henry’s Advice on ‘When Someone is a Butthole’
Speaking of catching you off-guard, here is Henry on what to do when someone is a butthole. And who doesn’t experience that daily? Practical and valuable advice, right?
In this case, it seems Henry’s loveable but gassy brother Otis has struck again, “launching toots” at him. Rather than scratch, Henry suggests taking some time to think it over first. Otherwise, things escalate, and the claws fly.
When we are feeling insecure, we can take someone’s bad behavior personally. But, as Henry says, their behavior is their own. Nobody has the power to lower your self-worth except for you, so why give that power away?
As all cats know, it’s best to pamper yourself with lots of self-care. It looks like Henry finds himself supremely worthy and even delectable. It definitely wouldn’t hurt to channel a little of Henry’s vibe.
Lastly, you don’t want to lick aside your feelings. Wise Henry knows it’s better to let feelings flow and not try to choke them down. Otherwise, you’ll end up with a hairball later.
Just when you think Henry has risen above Otis’s stench, Otis wants to have the last word (or toot?).
Otis’s Advice to Change the ‘Mood Stew’
Tying in with the previous lesson, Otis was cranky one day.
This time, it was Henry who was going on the offensive. So, Otis offered some ingredients to change the mood stew.
Mood Stew Ingredients from Henry and Otis
Next, Otis offers some ingredients to add to “mood stew”:
- Good smells (light a candle)
- Good flavors (eat something you love)
- Good sensations (comfy clothes, cozy blanket)
- Good atmosphere (favorite music, tv shows, favorite people, pets, places)
- Movement (dancing, walking, working out)
Some sage advice from Otis on finding peace:
This time, Otis decided to tune out Henry altogether.
However, Henry wanted the last word this time.
It looks like Otis may need that candle, after all.
